Swelling and redness
-
Physical examination and X-rays help determine the severity and guide treatment.
-
Non-surgical: Stretching, splints, shoe modifications, and padding.
Surgical/minimally invasive: Joint realignment or fusion may be performed through small incisions to relieve pain and correct the deformity.

Most patients return to comfortable shoe wear and daily activities within 4–6 weeks following minimally invasive correction.
