Nanoarthroscopy & Regenerative Medicine
Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure on a joint in which an examination and sometimes treatment of damage is performed using an arthroscope, an endoscope that is inserted into the joint through a small incision.
I am among the pioneers in advancing nano-arthroscopy, performing these minimally invasive procedures both in the operating room and in procedure rooms with patients awake. This approach allows for faster recovery, less pain, and an enhanced patient experience.
I also incorporate regenerative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapies to promote healing, restore joint health, and support long-term performance. By combining cutting-edge technology with biologic therapies, I offer athletes and active individuals innovative solutions that minimize downtime and maximize outcomes.

The hypothesis of the current study was that IONA in the treatment of posterior ankle impingement would provide the patient with a unique experience of their pathology and facilitate their rapid recovery through an awareness of their own condition and that using IONA would accelerate recovery to sports-specific activities compared to standard arthroscopic procedures.
To investigate the short-term clinical outcomes and satisfaction for the first set of patients at our institution receiving in-office needle arthroscopy (IONA) for the treatment of posterior ankle impingement syndrome (PAIS).
Meniscal injuries are a common cause of knee pain and are often an indication for knee arthroscopy, the most common orthopedic surgical procedure in the United States. In-office needle arthroscopy (IONA) is a described technique with the ability to diagnose and treat meniscal injuries in the office. IONA allows for diagnosis and treatment at a significantly deceased cost, with both quicker patient recovery, and improved patient satisfaction.
In-office needle arthroscopy (IONA) has gained increased attention as a minimally invasive alternative to standard arthroscopy performed in the operating room (OR) setting. IONA uses instrumentation that is markedly smaller in size and diameter making arthroscopy less invasive…
