Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

PRP therapy involves concentrating a patient’s own platelets from a small blood sample and injecting them into injured tissues to promote healing. Platelets release growth factors that accelerate tissue repair.

Anterior Ankle Impingement
    • Achilles tendonitis/tendinopathy

    • Peroneal or posterior tibial tendon injuries

    • Plantar fasciitis

    • Mild arthritis or cartilage injuries

  • Blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to isolate platelets. The concentrated platelets are then injected into the injured tissue under ultrasound guidance for precision.

    • Stimulates natural tissue healing

    • Minimally invasive, low-risk

    • Reduces pain and inflammation

  • Patients may experience mild soreness for a few days. Symptom improvement typically occurs over 4–8 weeks, with gradual return to activity. Multiple sessions may be recommended depending on the condition.
