Midfoot fractures involve the bones between the forefoot and hindfoot, commonly caused by falls, crush injuries, or sports trauma.

  • X-rays evaluate fracture location and alignment. CT scans may be necessary for complex or intra-articular fractures.

  • Stable fractures are treated conservatively with immobilization. Displaced fractures often require surgical fixation, which can be performed minimally invasively in select cases.

  • Recovery usually spans 6–12 weeks, followed by physical therapy to restore strength and mobility.
